Range of motion (ROM)
Range of motion displays the degree of movement that occurs at a joint (5).
Rating of perceived exertion (RPE)
Originally invented by Gunnar Borg. The athlete rates his overall work rate/exertion during exercise on a scale of 6-20. The scale was then developed further and reduced to 10 and named CR10 (–
category ratio scale 0-10) (3).
0 = rest
1 = very, very easy
2 = easy
3 = moderate
4 = somewhat hard
5 = hard
6
7 = very hard
